My daughter was tasked with cleaning the WHOLE kitchen for the first time ever last week. She didn't speak 5 words to me the rest of the night but she did an amazing job. With the exception of putting all the dishes away in the dishwasher - before it had been run.... well, she did great.
She is still too innocent to know not to do such a great job unless you want to keep doing that job. Well, she now has a new chore. LOL.
But the funniest thing was when she came home from school and it was no longer neat she was like 'what happened? I just cleaned up the whole kitchen last night. Where'd all this stuff come from?'.
Maybe now she'll have some appreciation for what we parents do everyday that lasts half a day before starting over. It was funny though. The look on her face was priceless.
