First Pinterest Pinning Party - And I'm Co-Hosting

Welcome to the NEW & very first Pinning Link-up Party! Did you know that Pinterest is the THIRD largest social media site these days? Many of us have followers on Twitter & Facebook, but what about Pinterest? It would only make sense that we need to pay attention to it and use it to help us grow our blogs! So, now after that little spiel, onto the pinning party!

Here are the rules:

Follow your Host and Co-hosts on Pinterest by clicking on each picture.

Follow Melanie on Pinterest Follow Telma on Pinterest Follow Rebecca on Pinterest Follow Bernette on Pinterest Follow Kim on Pinterest Follow Jeanie on Pinterest blogbutton200

NOW

  1. Linkup the URL to your PIN (NOT your post) that you want pinned. Old or New.
  2. Visit your HOST & Co-hosts links and re-pin their pins.
  3. Repin AT LEAST the THREE links before yours. This ensures everyone gets some re-pins. Host will re-pin last 3 links on the linky.
  4. Hop around and repin a few other favorite pins.
  5. Grab a Party Button BELOW and place it on your sidebar so others can join in the fun.

After linking up please leave a comment with your name or blogger name, Pinterest page address, website or blog address (if you have one), and why you love Pinterest.

Happy Independence Day, America!

Two hundred and thirty seven years ago we fought for and won our independence from Britain. Today we continue to fight to keep the freedoms and life we value. Supporting small businesses, medium-sized businesses, and even big businesses who put America first is one way to support America and move closer to independence from the financial and economic binds we struggle against now.

While it isn’t always possible to buy American, we have many opportunities that don’t cost that much more than choices from places with sketchy labor practices.  And as moms, we have a great deal of power over the purse and the purchase!

Independence Day is about more than fireworks, barbecues, and family vacations, but about our ability to enjoy these things due to the sacrifices of others, hard work, and our American values. While we may not all agree on political or social concepts, most of us would agree we love this country because we can think differently, act differently, create, work hard, and achieve the dreams held by our founding fathers and other visionaries who have since come.

Celebrate this year by honoring America not just with fireworks, but by supporting American based businesses who produce Made in America and Made in the USA products. As our country’s revolutionaries knew 237 years ago, economic freedom is one of the most important and can make or break a nation. Let’s continue to build America from the inside out.

Happy Independence Day
